About Binomial International Inc

Binomial International Inc has been in the field of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning since 1972. Our consultants offer a wide range of extensive international skills and experience. Based in Ogdensburg, New York we also have offices in Ottawa, Canada.

Binomial International Inc produces Pandemic Plans and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plans for both government and private sector clients and conducts both in-house and public seminars. We have also developed our own proprietary planning and plan management software (Phoenix), and software to create and maintain a pandemic plan (BPPS — the Binomial Pandemic Planning System).

Dr. Jeffrey G. Williams

Dr Williams is a leading authority on recovery planning, with degrees in mathematics, physics and systems engineering. He has lectured extensively on business continuity and disaster recovery plannning at a number of leading universities, as well as regularly conducting seminars in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia.

Dr Williams is a regular speaker at such venues as the Disaster Recovery Journal Conference, the Association of Contingency Planners, World-Wide Conference on Disaster Management and the RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society) Conference. He has conducted international studies alongside the United Nations, the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (FAITC) as well as the International Development Agency (CIDA).

A published author in his field, Dr Williams currently edits a worldwide disaster recovery planning newsletter. He was also instrumental in the development of the Phoenix Disaster Recovery Planning software.

Michael Z. Bell

Michael Bell has over twenty years experience in the development of specialized and leading-edge software. Educated at Cambridge University, his experience includes leading research and development projects in expert systems, data mining, and automated reasoning for government and private industry clients.

For the past seven years Michael has been working in the business continuity field with a special interest in threat analysis and risk assessment. He also runs the business continuity and risk management website Risky Thinking.
